Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy governs your use of the-pearls.com website (the “Site”).
This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of the Terms of Use for the Site and should be read in conjunction with those Terms of Use.
Please be aware that in all cases, contravention of this Acceptable Use Policy may lead to withdrawal of access to the Site.
1 Definitions
1.1 Content” means any content or material, whether of an audio or visual nature and including but not limited to words, pictures, blogs, comments, biographies, case studies, programmes and podcasts displayed on, by or via the Site;

Intellectual Property” means all intellectual property rights including, without limitation, patents, designs copyright, trade marks, database rights, rights in and to confidential information and know-how (whether such rights are registered or capable of registration) and any rights analogous to the same subsisting anywhere in the world at any time;

Post(ed)(ing)” means posting, publishing, sharing, transmitting, storing and uploading and any other such action of a similar nature;

Registered User” means any user who registers to use the Site;

you“, “your” means you, as the user of the Site.

2 Your content
2.1 You must keep your registration and account details secure and confidential, including but not limited to your user name and password, and must not share or disclose such information to any third party.
3 Unacceptable Content
3.1 You must not Post any Content on the Site which is in any way offensive, harmful, unpleasant, inappropriate, threatening, fraudulent, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, false, libellous, unreliable, misleading, harassing, intimidating, infringing, obscene, unlawful or otherwise objectionable (each being an “Objectionable Nature“)
3.2 You must not post Content which contains any links to third party websites which are or could reasonably be considered to be or to contain content of an Objectionable Nature.
3.3 You must not post Content for which you do not have the necessary permission, licence or authority to Post or which contravenes applicable laws or regulations.
3.4 You must not post Content which infringes any third party’s rights including, without limitation, the Intellectual Property rights of any third party.
3.5 You must not impersonate any person or claim affiliation to organisations or companies which you are not affiliated.
3.6 You must not upload, post or otherwise make available Content that promotes, condones or encourages, (or is capable of promoting, condoning or encouraging) any illegal activity, racial tension or terrorism.
3.7 You must not post any personal or private information of any third party or minors, including but not limited to addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, financial information or passwords without their express consent.
3.8 You must not post anything that contains viruses or other harmful software.
4 Unacceptable use of Site
4.1 You must not use the Site or information gathered from it for the sending of any unsolicited communications.
4.2 You must not use the Site for recruitment purposes. Using the Site for commercial gain in recruitment activities will lead to a Registered User’s account being terminated and/or action for loss of reputation.
4.3 You must not use the Content on the Site to create profiles which will be contained in any database or displayed on any website which is not the Site.
4.4 You must not register for more than one member account or use anyone else’s member account –  multiple accounts will be removed from the Site.
4.5 You must not use the Site to intimidate, bully or harass another individual.
4.6 You must not use the Site in any unlawful manner or in any manner that could disable, damage or be otherwise harmful to the Site or any part thereof.
4.7 You must not use the Site in any manner which could be deemed to be of an Objectionable Nature.
We may, at our sole discretion, withdraw, amend, restrict or move any Content which in our sole opinion breaches this Acceptable Use Policy.  We may also, at our sole discretion, terminate the account(s) of the offending user(s) who in our sole opinion violate this Acceptable Use Policy or continue to violate this Acceptable Use Policy after receiving notice of their unacceptable use of the Site.
